The Chicago Association of Legal Personnel Administrators (“CALPA”), formerly known as the Chicago Association of Legal Recruiting Coordinators (“CALRC”), is a professional non-profit service organization which was founded to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information among its members on issues related to law student and attorney recruitment.
The profession has expanded and evolved as more of our members increase the size of their recruiting staff and the scope of their responsibilities. In addition to law student and lateral recruiting, many members are now responsible for the administration of the their firm’s attorney training programs, mentor programs, associate evaluation programs and more.
